Formerly a 5-Star Bed and Breakfast, Islandview Inn offers luxury self-catering accommodations one block from the waterfront in Historic Gananoque. The Victorian Home was built in 1892 by a local prominent businessman as a wedding present for his first born daughter. The house was renovated in 2005 and 2010 providing modern conveniences while restoring it to its original glory.
The spacious Inn has three luxury bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, two fireplaces and a relaxing three-season room all ready for you to enjoy. We provide free Wi-Fi, secure bicycle and kayak storage and onsite parking for three vehicles (or a vehicle and boat trailer). It is located a stone's throw from the public marina, boat docking and Joel Stone Beach. We are around the corner from the 1000 Islands Playhouse, dining and shopping.
Islandview Inn blends the best of the old and new. It has antique furniture, flat screen televisions, DVD players, comfortable mattresses and high quality bedding. All of the bedrooms have air conditioning in the summer (and individual heaters in the winter) and overhead ceiling fans.
Aubrey has a view of the Gananoque Public Marina. It has a double bed, closet, alarm clock and reading lamp.
In the summer, Camelot is like being in a tree house. The 150 year old maple tree outside the bay windows keeps the room cool and provides gorgeous filtered light. Wake up to the sound of leaves moving in the breeze. Camelot has a queen size bed, alarm clock, reading lamps and window seating.
On the third floor you will find the massive Admiralty Suite. Cocoon yourself in front of the fireplace after a nice soak in the two-person tub. The Suite has a queen size bed, wet bar and ensuite.
The kitchenette has everything you will need during your stay: Full size stove and refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster, dishes and cutlery for six. Enjoy a nice cuppa in the three-season sunporch.
We request a two night minimum July - September.
